Position
Summary:
Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Mobile Air Transport customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company services and programs.
Essential Functions &
Responsibilities:
Provide rate quotes to Customers according to established Company policy.
Enter customer orders/changes as well as inbound alerts and pickup requests according to established department policies and procedures.
Answering all emailed and EDI pickups received and dispatch to stations with verifications.
Provide timely and accurate information to customer inquiries and shipment tracking requests.
Must effectively address customer issues and ensure resolution.
Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
Arranging payments via Credit Card or Check for customers that do not have credit with Mobile Air Transport.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma 1 - 3 years Customer service experience in a general freight transportation environment Superior time management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong team player Commitment to company values Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of geographic service area Knowledge of DOT, FMCSR, TSA, OSHA and HAZMAT regulations Ability to work Saturdays Physical demands and work environment:
