Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of leading safety and compliance initiatives within a large organization.
The ideal candidate will have 8
years of experience in this field, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The position requires knowledge of; Driver Safety Training DOT regulations OSHA Certification and Requirements Smith System Training Overall business compliance HR Background and Responsibility Fleet Safety, and compliance.
Must be flexible to working day and night shifts.
Education, Experience and Certifications A Bachelor's Degree in a health & safety field or related discipline.
A Master's Degree is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of directly related experience.
Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
Displays strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills including public speaking skills and executive presence in meetings and training environments Solid employee relations experience, high level interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills Professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader by influencing all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
