Job Description:
Director of Safety- Must have Transportation Management Experience in a Union Environment.
Queens Location.
We are looking for a passionate, self motivated, and detailed oriented team player who is committed to the success of our company.
Senior level management position with primary focus on safety, customer service, developing and training existing drivers, and implementing new strategies to meet company standards.
Duties Include:
Review all accidents and safety incidents.
Analyze root causes and implement strategies to improve performance.
Oversee training and road supervisory departments and utilize to meet company objectives.
Provide leadership support to Operations and Dispatch team.
Conduct performance reviews , coaching and counseling employees.
Interface directly with Client regarding safety incidents and corrective actions taken to mitigate further liabilities.
Microsoft Office experience required.
Background check and Non-Disclosure agreement will be required for this position.
