BASIC JOB FUNCTION The Information Services Associate provides guests information related to their airport visit, including but not limited to answering general questions, giving directions, providing quick solutions to customer problems utilizing approved resources provided by JFKIAT.
Maintains a professional and positive attitude, in-person, phone, and email.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to inquiries and provide assistance as requested by airport guests.
Follow through with guest request until services are completed to guest satisfaction.
Conduct customer surveys as directed.
Assist guests with airline & flight information including but not limited to, reading flight information display system (FIDS), airline tickets, & itineraries.
Represent the airport and Smarte Carte in a customer focused, professional manner.
SKILLS Ability to work and interact with a diverse population.

High degree of integrity Ability to train others as needed.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a fast-paced customer facing role QUALIFICATIONS Ability to pass airport badging requirements.
General knowledge of JFK Airport, terminals, and surrounding area.
Basic computer skills, with the ability to use computer-based reporting tools.
Smartphone proficient.
Enthusiastic, positive, poised, self-motivated, and professional EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS Walk & stand for duration of shift.
Experience Required Basic computer skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Experience in a fast-paced customer facing role Preferred Bilingual and/or Multilingual a plus Education Required High School or better Licenses & Certifications Required Airport Badge Skills Required Flexibility Communication Customer Service Computer Behaviors Required Team Player:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
