High-Volume, Queens Plaintiff's Personal Injury law firm seeks an experienced Legal Secretary to assist a trial attorney in managing their caseload.
Must know all pleadings, legal forms, discovery and all court calendar requirements.
Responsible for electronically filing court documents; Responsible for receiving/saving/reviewing/addressing all emails or mail received electronically.
Must know how to prepare a file for trial.
Must be able to effectively communicate with clients, lawyers, the court and other law firms.
The ideal candidate must be able to write clearly, concisely and professionally.
Attention to detail is a must.
