Jamaica, NY Jamaica, NY Full-time Full-time $22 - $23 an hour $22 - $23 an hour Job Description A Food Production Administrator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of food production, including overseeing the production process, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing inventory and supplies, and coordinating with other departments.
Essential Functions:
Assisting Production Manager with the planning and organization of the Food Department Ensure Cold Food & Hot Food Requisition is broken down according to specification and distribute to stations.
Update ADP in accordance with weekly schedule and vacations Ensure that each work station works with updated spec book Laison with Account Managers ensuring Specification Book is up to date.
Maintain vacation accrual schedule weekly - after each payroll.
Conduct in daily ADP check for all missing punches for all employees and submit time adjustment in a timely manner to payroll prior to the daily productivity report.
Maintain sick time balances.
Pre-screen/interview and assist with the interview scheduling for new potential employees.
Work closely with HR recruitment Prepare PAF's & Requisitions for termination, replacement, and transfers Prepare disciplinary documentation for all employees.
Effectively communicate standards of performance to management and employees.
Problem solving any issues in the Food Department Following all GMP and HACCP protocols Making sure employees are working safely and in a safe environment.
Ensure and comply with all procedures related to proper food handling.
Perform all other duties as directed by the management team.
Follow established rules of each unit for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by unit management.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
