Quality Improvement Director

SCO Family of Services welcomes you to join our family and help us work together to carry out our mission to build a stronger tomorrow. o Monitor program to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local codes, compliance with regulations of funding body (OPWDD), and compliance with agency policies and procedures. o Assist program staff to meet all codes and regulations o Develop comprehensive training schedule and monitor compliance for staff o Ensure program is maintained in accordance with Council On Accreditation standards and requirements. o Assist program staff in their efforts to develop, initiate, and monitor short-term annual plans in support of long-term strategic planning efforts. o Conduct investigations for incident management. Track and review program-specific incident, accident, and grievance reports. o Participate in Incident Review Committee; maintain records for incident reporting o Supervise QI Specialists; complete evaluations o Analyze program risk management, environmental surveillance, and quality control activities o Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required o Participate in Agency-Wide Quality Improvement meetings o Maintain all requisite certifications, including SCIP-R Master Trainer, CPR o Other QI tasks as assigned  Qualifications o Minimum of Bachelor's Degree; Master's Preferred. o Minimum of three years' experience in services with individuals with developmental disabilities. o Strong knowledge of OMRDD/Medicaid regulations and agency procedures. o Ability to handle emergencies in a professional manner. o Valid NYS Driver's License SCO Family of Services is an Equal Opportunity Employment Employer. 34504

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
