The "air fry" setting has been fun to try different recipes. The toast setting needs to be fine tuned at the factory. For example, when toasting a piece of raisin bread on setting 1 the toast is too light but on setting 2 the toast is too dark. The default for toasting is 4 and I would assume that this would result in a piece of charcoal. I baked some frozen bite-sized mini-pies and it worked nicely. I haven't yet used the broil settings. Unlike some toaster ovens, the lower heating element does not function when broiling, which is desirable. The upper knob selects the mode and/or baking temperature. The lower knob sets the time for the selected function. The time is shown on the large LED screen. At the end of the cycle, the heating elements are turned off and double zero flashes on the screen for about a minute to signal that the cooking is finished. You can then press the switch or the oven will turn the screen off automatically. The oven was not in stock in my local store so I ordered it on-line.
